Black Rhinoceros in the Serengeti National Park

We were lucky to see a Black Rhinoceros in the Serengeti National Park.

These animals are critically threatened, mostly by poaching.

Poachers sell their horns to ignorant people, predominantly in Asia who believe they have medicinal properties. They do not have any medicinal properties, because they are made of the same substance as our fingernails.
