One of the largest metropolitan cities in the world, choosing what to see on your first visit may seem a little overwhelming.

We choose to explore the city’s centre and all of the attractions were within walking distance.

Day 1.

Hemiciclo a Benito Juarez and Alameda Park.

The Palacio de Bellas Artes – Mexican Art Gallery

Pan de Azucar San Juan – Food Market

Chinatown – only 2 blocks. One of the smallest in the world

Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral

Presidencia De La República.

Ave Francisco l. Madero – pedestrian only shopping district

Mirador Torre Latino – lookout tower with a bar and restuarant

Plaza Garibaldi

Mexico Arena – Lucho Libre Mexican Wrestling


Day 2.

National University and Olympic Stadium Mural Tour – See work by Diego Rivera

Xochimilco, a marine ecological reserve and UNESCO World Heritage site

The Angel of Independence Monument

Monument to the Revolution
